Each person has 2 mountains. This isn't 2 mountains for 2 different groups of people. If you look at your 2 mountains, the amount of success you desire for yourself in relation to your own dreams & aspirations, and your individual abilities - and when you weight up the challenges - which mountain will you choose?
Here is a question: What makes us set the bar high or low when we decide on our goals and what we'll accept as being successful? And I don’t mean high or low in comparison to other people here, because everyone has their personal system of reference when it comes to standards for personal success. Rather, why don’t we continuously set goals to our own personal best criteria? Why is our criteria of success not always determined by our ultimate potential or our ambitions and most meaningful dreams, our best competencies, our highest standards? Why don’t we consistently aim for the best possible outcomes in relation to our own definition of success or absolute potential?

Although I’m a solid believer that success is a journey rather than a final result, most of us have goals that are based on our own description for success,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and success itself can often be described in terms of things to achieve. We all use different standards when setting goals for success.
Faith & Expectation
Fear has a paralyzing effect in itself,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but when we cultivate the idea that we can fail at something, or that we’re not capable or deserving to be successful, it becomes very tempting to stop pursuing it, or to change the goal in order to decrease that fear. If you didn't have fear of success or fear of failure, if you decided you could find a way to succeed at your highest goals, and if you were confident that you either have what it requires or will get what it takes to succeed, if you believed that you could be successful,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and really deserve to achieve success at your highest standard,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], how different would your goals be?
We every so often set goals that may not be in line with our integrity, our sense of purpose and our real desires. As an example, we could say we wish to be rich, but deep down it may not be what really drives us. So it’s really vital when we set our objectives to match them to our own authentic self, to our most important and meaningful desires, to our greater sense of purpose, and to our own personal mission. Because as I’ve mentioned earlier, when there’s a conflict between our goals and our values, we are less likely to really pursue that goal and succeed at achieving it.
All of us have been advised or have thought to ourselves that we were being unrealistic about some of our goals and dreams. When you fine-tune your goal to what is actually realistically possible according to your individual attributes & resources,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and not based on your past achievements or what your limiting beliefs or others are telling you, then that goal can be set a lot higher. When we're trying to be realistic, it’s not always valid, because the reality of what’s possible and what we can accomplish might be better than we and others believe, realistically!

And based on the mindset that we adopt before facing the challenge,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we will either embrace the process or feel hindered and frustrated. When we set our goals, we evaluate what will be required for us to attain that goal. Once we set goals and we describe success for ourselves, we’re very prone to set goals that we expect to achieve. Why set goals that we expect we won’t achieve? This really affects how we carry ourselves in the process, how we take action, and how we impact on our environment. Faith has a significant effect on tenacity, perseverance, determination and patience. Expectation is so powerful because it opens us to receive, and it also causes us to act as if we’ve already received what we want! And if you enter a situation or a challenge with that mindset, then you are already almost there! So having faith and the expectation of success will generate your behaviours, thoughts, feelings and the universe to align to create that success.
Success really is a process and not just an end result. So when you’ve decided on your mountain to climb and on what you anticipate finding when you reach to top - even though you don’t know the path and what kind of challenges you’ll come across on the way - then enjoying the process and embracing what it throws at you is a goal in itself, as long as you're moving forward towards your most meaningful and ambitious goals.
